Our commitment

Lotarn is committed to delivering products that consistently meet or exceed customer, regulatory and industry requirements. Our quality management system is integrated into every process — from quotation and planning through to final inspection and dispatch.

We operate a zero-defect philosophy. Every non-conformance is investigated through root cause analysis, and corrective actions are systematically implemented and verified. Our quality metrics are reviewed monthly by senior management and shared transparently with customers on request.

Quality System

How our QMS works

Process Control

Every manufacturing process is governed by controlled work instructions, approved process plans and in-process verification checkpoints. SPC monitoring on critical characteristics.

Traceability

Full material traceability from mill certificate to finished part. Bar-coded job tracking through our ERP system (Javelin). Batch and serial number management to customer requirements.

FAI / PPAP

First Article Inspection to AS9102 format. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation packages prepared to Level 3–5 as required. All records archived for 20+ years.

Supplier Management

Approved supplier list with annual audit programme. All raw material and special process suppliers assessed against AS9100 flow-down requirements. Risk-based supplier monitoring.

Non-Conformance

Formal NCR process with mandatory root cause analysis (8D methodology). Corrective and preventive actions tracked to closure. Trend analysis reported monthly.

Continuous Improvement

Structured CI programme using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Annual improvement targets agreed with each customer. Employee suggestions scheme generating 40+ ideas per year.
